Body Sound

Statement

A wearable sound module shaped to the back of the body: an articulated metal frame with tensioned strings that turns posture, breath and movement into vibration.

Body Sound investigates the body as a resonant instrument. The structure follows the curvature of the spine and ribs, so every gesture of the performer stretches or releases the strings and becomes sound.
